1990-91 seven International Sikh Conferences were
organised in U.K., Canada, and U.S.A, at London,
Toronto, Vancouver, Berkeley, Chicago, Washington
D.C. and New York, to promote an understanding
of Sikh thought. Such conferences are now an annual
feature and since 1995 the Institute has been
holding annual seminars. The themes were:
1995 - Sardar Daljeet Singh Memorial
Seminar.
1996 - Apostasy Among Sikh Youth
- Its Causes and Cures.
1997 - Sikh Personal Law
- Gurdwara
Legislation.
1998 - Khalsa Tercentenary Seminar
-
Khalsa : The fulfillment of Guru Nanak's Mission.
- Khalsa
: Its role in the 21st Century.
Papers presented at these seminars
are brought out in a book form, and the issues
discussed are pursued. Besides annual seminars,
additional seminars when needed are arranged from
time to time. Also members meet regularly every
month to discuss issues confronting the Panth
(community).
